In the September edition of
Lifestyler, we brought you LEGO’s dynamic model of Frank Lloyd Wright’s
Fallingwater. Now, the LEGO Architecture series, a recreation project between the LEGO group and
architectural artist Adam Reed Tucker, has unveiled its newest addition: Frank Lloyd Wright’s “Robie House.”
The new set is a remodel of Frederick C. Robie’s home located in Chicago’s famous Hyde Park, which includes
other landmarks such as the University of Chicago and the Museum of Science and Industry. In addition to the
stunning residential architecture of Robie House, it is also the first property to ever be declared a
National Historic Landmark based on its architectural integrity.
Already famous for
producing recreations such as The Sears Tower and The Empire State Building, LEGO Architecture continues to
impress fans with its detailed sets that feature not only the LEGO but informational booklets, artist
statements and landmark nameplates.
Recommended for ages 16
and over, this newest set captures the beauty of this architectural masterpiece.
